About

I’m an urban data scientist in training at the new NYU Center for Urban Science and Progress. I was previously a data analytics consultant and spent 6 years in the US Army as a Chinese linguist, both on active duty and in the Army National Guard.

When I’m not furiously learning a new computer language or playing with a new data set, I’m usually out running, hiking, or camping, usually some distance from the nearest Internet connection.
